Agile software development flow differs among companies. Depending on the business nature, some company prefers speed over quality to reach a target, some prefer ad hoc task rather than sprint planning, etc. But essentially, how the agile flow looks like?

Ps: This is purely my opinion as a software engineer that has worked with more than 7 companies. There’s no right or wrong answer, there are always pros and cons in any software development practice.

Let’s say you are a new joiner, you come in on your first day and are introduced to the rest of the team. Sometimes, there’s an initiation period where all the new joiners come together, getting know each other, and are introduced to the company profile, team structure, etc, etc. In your first and second weeks, you are expected to be familiar with the company tools, environment, code standard, and create your first Pull Request. But, what’s next? if you are new to an agile software development environment, everything might feel alien to you, here we will discuss some practices that you can expect in joining an IT company.
